Warrior’s Journal: Day 14
Last night I decided to talk to the bounty hunters. I found them at the bar after the snowball tournament and I beat them at 3 dragon ante. Their names are Snow and Badger. Badger is the weird one I met a couple days ago. They’re planning to head out soon and either head north east or towards the coast. I lied to them and said that there’s nothing worth while on the coast.
I also rented a room from a nice older lady. It’s nice having my own place again.
Today, we started the goblin bounty. We’re supposed to find their hideout, figure out what they’re up to, and what their leadership structure is. Jaren said to focus on recon, but that we can attack if we find an opening. He’ll even pay us 1 gp per goblin slain.
We left town with Vita, who will do the tracking, and Sonoma, who is coming for the adventure and as extra muscle. Sonoma was late, it seems like she had a rough night, like Pierre and me.
The walk to the goblin lair was long and most boring. Lightning struck a tree and it lit on fire. That was the only interesting thing. At the end of the day we found the entrance to the lair. I looked in, but I couldn’t see that far in because the tunnel turned off to the left.
Vita and I had to argue with Sonoma so that we could camp for the night and come back to the goblin hideout tomorrow.

Warrior’s Journal: Day 15
Today we routed the goblins. Dungeon crawling is surprisingly similar to burglary. You sneak into a monsters house, grab stuff that you want, and then attack whoever you run into I disarmed a trapped lock and picked the lock to their slaughter room. It might have been the worst smelling place I’ve ever been. There were a few small tunnels that the goblins dug, that only Pierre could fit in. I tied a rope around his waist so I could pull him back if something went wrong. He triggered a pit trap and I pulled him back, but I think he got knocked against the side of the hole.
At the back of the lair, we found a goblin barracks with the door open and the goblins all sleeping. I sneaked into the room and assassinated one of the goblins and then started attacking the rest as my party took potshots from the door. We had an epic battle and I got to show off my fighting prowess. I killed 3 of the 8 goblins on my own, and contributed damage to 3 more.
One of the stronger goblins almost killed me so I think my secret is out, at least to Vita and Sonoma. Might not be worth it to conceal it now.
