Warrior’s Journal Day 16
Today we returned to town after slaying the goblins. We found a magical knife on one of the goblin leaders and Lenora held on to it. She had a nightmare involving the moon and she said that she had some strange compulsions. We brought the knife and the intel we recovered from the goblin hideout to Jaren and Vernon. Vernon said that he would do more research on not just the knife but also the goblin’s blood circle.
Lenora and Vita couldn’t help but mention the wine that we found, so Pierre and I got harassed about that by Jaren. I’ll remember this for the future. At least Jaren paid us four gold and three silver for our efforts.
Hopefully Vernon will have more answers about the knife and blood in the coming days.

Warrior’s Journal Day 17
Vernon invited us to over for breakfast this morning to share what he has learned. He says that the knife’s evil energy is not that strong and that Lenora’s protection from good and evil should protect a weilder of the knife. Lenora says that this blessing lasts about 10 minutes so we’ll have to be careful with using the knife for now.
Bolt Thundercloud, half orc bastard from the Thundercloud family, arrived in town today saying that he was brought here by his god. It’s been awhile but I forgot how preachy and self important paladins are. Seems like what he is searching for might be related to some of this strange stuff the goblins had. He wants us to check the woods around the goblin hideout for more stuff. He also wanted to see what the knife’s powers are and asked me to spar with him.
We went out to the training grounds and Lenora cast protection from good and evil on me. I attacked Bolt and when I finally landed clean hit on him, the knife charged up. It magically transformed into a one handed long sword while also gaining a ranged attack. The ranged attack shreaded a new training dummy and I’m pretty sure I could have killed Bolt if I targeted him with the ranged attack. Also after landing the crit, I felt compelled to keep attacking Bolt. When I finally regained full control of my self I dropped the knife on the ground.
I don’t like that knife.
